About the role:

Do you have a sweet tooth and enjoy working in a hands-on bakery environment?

Welcome to Rodeo, the delicious doughnut destination.

We're a growing, Americana-inspired bakery brand creating fresh, handcrafted doughnuts loved by customers across the UK. We're looking for a Bakery Assistant to join our gluten-free production unit, helping to bake, decorate and prepare our doughnuts to the high standards our customers expect.

Your responsibilities:

  • Weigh ingredients, mix, pipe and bake dough according to company recipes and techniques
  • Decorate doughnuts once baked, including glazing, piping and adding toppings
  • Place trays of decorated doughnuts onto allocated trolleys for delivery to our stores
  • Package doughnuts for online orders when required
  • Ensure all opened food products are correctly date labelled and monitor expiry dates
  • Complete daily cleaning tasks to maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Follow all food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures

What we're looking for:

  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in producing consistently high-quality products
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
  • Reliable and organised approach to work
  • Comfortable working as part of a wider production team
  • Good understanding of the importance of food hygiene and cleanliness

Experience:

  • Previous bakery, kitchen or food production experience is preferred but not essential.
  • Full training will be provided.

Role Details

Part Time, Permanent Position

  • Minimum 18 hours per week across 3 days
  • Monday–Sunday availability required
  • Based in our gluten-free production unit in Reading
