About the role:

Do you have experience leading a production team and keeping operations running smoothly?

Welcome to Rodeo, the delicious doughnut destination.

We're a growing, Americana-inspired bakery brand creating fresh, handcrafted doughnuts loved by customers across the UK. We're looking for a Production Manager to lead the operation of our Central Production Unit, ensuring our doughnuts are produced efficiently, safely and to the high standards our customers expect.

Your responsibilities:

  • Maintain consistently high standards of food hygiene, food safety and health & safety throughout the production process, ensuring all relevant procedures and legislation are followed
  • Communicate any changes to daily production requirements clearly and effectively to the CPU team. Lead daily team briefings, delegate tasks and manage workloads to ensure production targets are achieved within agreed timescales
  • Develop and manage a four-weekly rota for the CPU team, ensuring staffing levels and resources are aligned with forecasted production requirements and business targets
  • Work closely with Retail Management to determine daily production requirements, using sales data, performance metrics and trading trends to accurately forecast demand
  • Act as the first point of contact for any production-related issues, taking ownership of problems and implementing effective solutions to minimise disruption and ensure production is completed on time

What we're looking for:

  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent organisation and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment
  • Strong understanding of food hygiene, food safety and health & safety requirements
  • Confident communicator who can lead a team and clearly communicate changing priorities
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving issues
  • Able to use sales data and performance information to support production planning and forecast demand
  • Reliable, organised and able to take ownership of the day-to-day operation
  • Able to work collaboratively with Retail Management and the wider Rodeo team
  • Flexible and available to work across Monday to Sunday to meet production requirements

Experience:
